Work the mines, Liberators!

One of the top free online games of 2017 has just gotten even hotter!  Introducing another exciting new gameplay feature:  The Steel Mill!  The Steel Mill gives you access to two new features in Liberators – the Mineral Ore Mine and the Tank Workshop.  The Tank Workshop is simpler to understand, but what is the Mineral Ore Mine?  Offering a whole new mode of gameplay, how does it really work? 

Upon entering the Mineral Ore Mine, you’ll be greeted by multiple different mines of different qualities.  All mines will produce plentiful batches of Iron Ore, but at different rates.  The lower quality mines, such as the “Crummy Mine” and the “Decent Mine” will have lower production rates. The beast mines such as the “Fantastic Mine” or the legendary “Supreme Mine” should be on every top Liberator’s radar!

Enter the mine of your choice, and use the 1, 2 and 3 buttons at the bottom of the screen to prepare a battalion of Commanders.  Once you’ve got your 15 toughest Commanders ready, you are ready to begin mining at any available mining position, or seize a mine from another player. You can maintain a mining position for up to 12 hours, or until another player seizes your position from you. 

Once you have a position secured, you will automatically begin to acquire Iron Ore on a minutely basis.  The longer you hold your mining position, and the better the mining position you hold, the more Iron Ore you’ll collect!  

Each Mine has two different types of positions.  Most players will be content to hold a Standard mining position – the most plentiful type of position in the game.  The most ambitious of Liberators will also notice that each Mine (except the Crummy Mine) has one special spot – the legendary Kingpin mining position!  The Kingpin mining position yields more Iron Ore than a Standard one, but also attracts more attention from other players!

If another player seizes your mining position, you will be notified as long as you are online.  If you’re feeling particularly vengeful, you will have the chance to retaliate!  This feature will initiate a fight for you to take your position in the mine back for yourself.  Don’t let other players take the Iron Ore that you deserve!

If you need some extra security, you can purchase a Truce for 1 hour.  In a Truce, nobody can take your mining position.  You can only purchase three Truces a day, so use them wisely!

Iron Ore is useful for purchasing items used in the Tank Workshop, and to bolster the strength of your army even more greatly!
